I am honored to officially announce my candidacy for the Zachary School Board, District 9. For 38 years, Zachary has been my home, a community that has significantly shaped who I am. I am dedicated to giving back by serving our students, families, teachers, and taxpayers with excellence, integrity, and accountability.
I firmly believe every child deserves access to high-quality education, every teacher needs the resources and support to thrive, and every parent deserves to have their voice heard. Our schools maintain a proud tradition of excellence, and I am committed to continuing that legacy while preparing our students for the future.
As your representative for District 9, I will prioritize listening, leading, and making thoughtful decisions that keep students at the forefront.

Candidate Background
I have called this community home for 38 years. Today, my connection to our school system continues through my nephew and numerous family members who are currently enrolled in Zachary Community Schools. I love the community I call home, and I care deeply about its future.
My background reflects years of professional development, entrepreneurship, leadership, and service. I am:
* A 2001 graduate of Zachary High School
* A graduate of Baton Rouge Community College, where I earned an Associate Degree in Film Production
* A Louisiana Civil Law Notary
* A WreckMaster Certified Wrecker Operator, Level 4/5
* A longtime professional with Lee’s Towing, with years of hands-on experience in business operations and serving the public
* A current board member for Zachary Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
* A member of the Women of the Towing and Recovery Association of America, supporting and connecting with women throughout the towing industry
* Recipient of the Zachary Chamber of Commerce Minority Award
* Recipient of the National Trust Award from American Towman
These experiences have taught me that leadership requires more than having a title. It requires listening, accountability, integrity, communication, sound decision making, and a willingness to do the work.
As your representative for District 9, I want to help ensure that Zachary Community Schools continue providing an excellent education while keeping our students at the center of every decision. I believe our teachers and staff deserve support, parents deserve to be heard, and our community deserves a strong voice at the table.
